Summary
Stockport College is not accredited to award social work degree courses in its own right as it is not a university. Manchester Metropolitan University is the accredited university for all courses being delivered at Manchester Metropolitan University and Stockport College and takes responsibility for completing annual monitoring of courses at both institutions.
Courses delivered at Manchester Metropolitan University and Stockport College continue to meet GSCC and Department of Health (DH) requirements for social work degree courses. We are asking the university to take some actions in order to further develop the quality of their courses.
