NQSW Outcome Statements and Guidance

The Children’s Workforce Development Council is inviting people to help shape the newly qualified social worker (NQSW) pilot programme by participating in the consultation on a draft set of outcome statements and guidance for NQSWs in children`s services.

This pilot programme starting in September 2008 will be underpinned by the outcome statements which set out what an NQSW should achieve by the end of their first year in employment. The guidance assists employers and NQSWs to understand the scope of the outcome statements and how they can be evidenced.
