Values for integrated working with children and young people: Professionals working in childrens services increasingly work in multi-disciplinary teams. It is helpful - in order to ensure these teams work well - if the values that need to underpin this integrated working are clearly spelt out. A statement of values has been drawn up by General Social Care Council, the General Teaching Council and the Nursing and Midwifery Council after a wide process of consultation. It is attached, along with an explanation of how it was written and what we hope it can achieve.
